Frequently asked questions
Can I play without registering?
Yes. Press Quick Play for a CPU match. The site may assign your browser an Anonymous identity for its guest features. Failure to initialise that identity does not block Quick Play, but may prevent a completed match from being counted.
Does Quick Play save or replace my team?
No. Both squads stay temporary. Customize this team creates a new draft. Only an explicit save writes a team. Guests have one local saved team; registered accounts have up to six cloud-saved teams.
What happens if I clear browser data?
Your local guest team and remembered tutorial setting may be lost. Deleting the guest cookie gives the browser a new Anonymous identity next time. The guest counter counts identities created, not verified unique people.
Why did my CPU match pause?
CPU play pauses when you switch tabs or the browser loses focus. Press Resume match when you return. The match setup screen also pauses a CPU game. Online state is shared, so the same local pause rules do not apply.
How do I invite a friend?
Create a private Online 1v1 room and copy its link. Both sides need a complete team of the room's format. After Quick Play, Challenge a friend can supply a temporary 3v3 squad without saving it first.
Is there automatic matchmaking?
Not yet. Online play currently uses private room codes and invitations. Quick Play always selects a CPU opponent.
Can I play on a phone?
The catalog and guides can be browsed on a phone. Matches currently require keyboard controls; a touch joystick is not implemented. Open or share the game on a computer for the intended experience.
The catalog does not load. What should I do?
Check your connection and try Quick Play again. If it still fails, reload the page. The game needs to obtain the current KICK11 catalog before it can choose your teams; it will not silently invent replacement player cards.
Are the player ratings official?
No. They are KICK11 gameplay values. They are not live sporting statistics. Read ratings explained before interpreting the radar.
Why can a tackle miss?
A slide needs correct direction and timing. It has a recovery period. The tackler's defence and physical values, and the opponent's control, influence the outcome. See How to play.
